FUEL
PELLETS

TU 16.29.14-001-77088991-2017

Fuel pellets from sunflower husk are manufactured according to TU (Technical Specifications). Pellets are an environmentally friendly and the lowest cost alternative to heating in the absence of mains gas.

Another advantage of sunflower husk pellets is the burning time: They burn for 100-130 minutes, and smolder for 6, or even 8 hours. A big plus is low ash content: after burning one kilogram of pellets, the ash quantity is equal to a matchbox, within 4-7%; hence there is a large amount of heat that a unit of fuel emits: it burns out completely. Ash formed after combustion is an excellent fertilizer. The company offers various logistics options: in bulk or packages (big bags) (1 m * 1 m * 1.85 m, one ton).

BENEFITS OF PELLETS

The heat transfer is 17,000-19,000 kJ per kilogram. This is more than the average values for wood and about the same as the combustion heat at burning some types of coal.

In the production process, except for the husk itself, no binders or chemical additives are used. The result is biofuel not harming the environment and not causing allergic reactions in humans.

The same amount of heat energy as at burning 2,000 kg of husk pellets is released from the following materials:
~ 3200 kg of wood
~ 957 m3 of gas
~ 1000 l of diesel fuel

PRODUCTION STAGES

At the first stage, the seeds are cleaned of impurities using special equipment: separators, stone collectors, aspirators.

Mechanical cleaning involves sifting the seed mass through sieves that differ in the size and shape of the holes.

Also, the seeds are blown with a stream of air, sifting out empty ones with a light weight and cleaned of metal impurities using a magnet.

In preparation for oil extraction, sunflower seeds are crushed in the crumbling section of the plant.

Kernels are separated from the husk.

The husk separated from the seeds is transported through the husk pipeline to the storage hopper of the granulation workshop.

The shop carries out the production of agricultural pellets using a granulator by in-line compression of husk to the granule diameter of 8 mm.
